katy vestal grew up immersed in natural inspiration on a lakeside wildlife refuge where she began figgy in her parent’s kitchen, and from her mother- an english teacher, devoted gardener and incredible cook. it is these influences that push her to believe in sweet creations always fresh, with a nod toward the season and a dedication to detail and sincerity, with a little kick of poetry- from the inside out.

at figgy, we believe a treat should delight and startle, from the eyes to the tastebuds. we place special emphasis on using natural, whole food, ingredients- crafting pastries, cakes and desserts free of dyes, chemicals or additives, and if animal based, ethically and humanely sourced. a creation baked from scratch can be an elaborate labor of love, but should be made up of what is simple and pure.
